Build Android apps for international markets - architecture, POC modules, and the code quality that keeps shipping possible.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Develop Android mobile apps to the requirements of the Project Owner and Marketing.
- Take part in analysis, architecture design and business-flow design.
- Research and build concepts and POC modules.
- Review, analyse, assess, upgrade and optimise source code.
- Work with the other teams.
- Propose improvements to process and performance.
- Research new technology and contribute ideas.
- Onboard and coach new members.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- At least 2 years of Android experience (Java, Kotlin).
- Command of Android fundamentals: Activity, Service, View System, Resource, Storage, Thread, Jetpack, Firebase, Dagger.
- Understand MVVM or MVI.
- Understand design patterns and SOLID.
- Jetpack Compose is an advantage.
- Able to research new technology.
- Experience building a base project is an advantage.
- Understanding of web and cloud is an advantage.
- Able to read English documentation.
- Work well both in a team and independently.
- Genuine passion for building product.
- Lead or training experience is an advantage.
